SNUGTOP’S SEMA SHOW BOOTH PUTS FOCUS ON ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

LAS VEGAS, NV - Industry-leading fiberglass truck cap and tonneau cover manufacturer SNUGTOP has themed its booth at the 2007 SEMA Show “Green Comes In Many Colors.” The company is showcasing a trio of vehicles and products that help sustain our environment.

Clearly the most unique vehicle in SNUGTOP’s booth is an electric truck manufactured by Phoenix Motorcars of Ontario, California. The stylish pickup has a range in excess of 100 miles on a charge and can easily cruise at freeway speeds. SNUGTOP is an OEM supplier to Phoenix of a custom designed SnugLid tonneau cover that serves to improve the vehicle’s aerodynamic efficiency and provide secure cargo storage.

Lastly, there’s a highly modified, limited edition Ford F-150 truck from Roush Industries that is showcasing a SnugLid SL tonneau. Both wind tunnel tests conducted by SEMA and SNUGTOP’s own on-track programs have confirmed that covering the bed of a truck increases fuel economy.
